With 2019 coming to a close in mere hours I want to take a moment to thank all of you personally for an incredible 2019. Bad Manners Esports may have only been around for the last three months of 2019, but those 3 months were absolutely incredible with the amount of growth and support in that short time. That growth just proves to the doubters that people do want to enjoy less serious content when it comes to their Esports content. Kind of a breath of fresh air to know we don't attract a bunch of political correctness lunatics, but hey, if you are a lunatic we welcome you here too. Just don't be blowing up my DM's calling me "vile". It's a thing that happens. I also want to thank you ALL for the crazy support with my personal stream (Twitch.tv/Nicktacular) I have officially have been streaming part-time for a year and a half and we hit 600 followers and a metaphorical bucket full of subscribers! It blows my mind when I think about the community we have created. If my testosterone didn't melt my tear ducts I may have shed a tear for the joy you guys have brought me and to this company. 2020 is going to without a doubt be GIGANTIC for Bad Manners Esports and the stream. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!

Yes, I am writing a blog about myself and yes the title to this blog is in third person. This is my company, my blog, I do what the fuck I want. As mentioned in previous blogs, this post is not about stroking my ego or wanting credit for my underappreciated Rocket League greatness. This blog is an inspirational piece. Something all of mankind should read and past down to future generations. Let me tell you the story of how I, Nicktacular, was zero boost and with a dream. A dream turned REALITY.
It was December 28th, 2019. Nicktacular, being a stand up guy invited one of his biggest fans Tyswoogles to play some Ranked 2's. The matches before this biblical game were bloody and exhausting. A bruised and battered Nicktacular had enough of holding "L's" and decided enough was a ENOUGH. The map was Wasteland. Nicktacular and Ty were one goal up on the opponents. Knowing that two goals is more than one goal, our protagonist knew he HAD to seal the deal with a second insurance goal. Taking this knowledge I....I mean Nicktacular turns on the ball and pinches the ball against the wall to get it past an unsuspecting opponent. This FANTASTIC move instantly gets another opponent to flip past Nicktacular. Noticing that his boost meter is at ZERO knew he was under some adversity, he thought back to others who faced this same kind of adversity. Thomas Edison, a man who failed 1,000 times before creating the first working light bulb. Michael Jordan, who was dropped from his varsity high school basketball team and eventually becoming the greatest player to ever touch a basketball. Or the 2016 New England Patriots who found themselves down 28-3 against the Atlanta Falcons during the Superbowl and still found a way to win in overtime to become Superbowl Champions. Taking this inspiration Nicktacular digs deep and pulls out a wave dash that allows him to get around the ball so he can tap it past a player trying to play defense. Then, with the control of a highly experienced fighter pilot, gets the ball to settle on the top of his car and with cat-like reflexes and accuracy was able to get the ball past the player attempting to play defense and scores. *Goosebumps*
First off I must say, I hope you all had a fantastic fucking Christmas. I was extremely busy with the effects of procrastination, but I do perform at PEAK performance when under pressure. (This is why the Rocket League community calls me Clutchtacular. It's a thing. TRUST me.) I do want to apologize for the lack of content on this amazing website. Like I said I procrastinated Christmas and I had to scramble, BUT WE ARE BACK. And I want to thank ALL of you amazing people for being so patient. Also BIG THANKS to you SUBSCRIBERS. Yeah, we have been getting a ton of those and I can't thank you animals enough. With that said I am back and this site will ONLY EXPLODE from here.
While I got your attention a lot of people in the Rocket League community seem to be confused when I say "I taught NRG how to win." Many of you think I am "trolling". I do not know what this "trolling" is. Nor do I know how to do such an act. Below are TWO clips. One clip is from my stream. The clip was created only a few days before the RLCS Worlds Championship. A few days later after taking notes from my clip, Turbopulsa did the EXACT SAME play (3:48 mark of second clip) at Worlds. Do I want credit? No! I am not that kind of guy. I only care about the growth of my favorite Esport. In conclusion.....he stole my move. Still don't want credit. Now that Season 8 of the RLCS is over and NRG is our champions let us throw out some criticism/speculation into the air. Flakes is literally my favorite Rocket League player, but right now it's kind of tough to be a fan of his after what I saw during the promotion tournament. I get that Complexity had a tough go this season, but to be playing with the Merc during possibly one of the BIGGEST tournament of your life is pretty inexcusable. If I was one of his teammates and Flakes was playing with the Octane ALL SEASON and all of a sudden in a tournament that literally determines our careers as players whips out the Merc I would be losing my mind. And I truly don't give a fuck if the Merc has the same hit box as the Octane. The fact that the car's skin visually looks different on the same hit box may effect they way you approach, hit, and carry the ball. Flakes, from what I have gathered is now a Free Agent for this coming season of play. Before seeing how well Dignitas played at Worlds I would of thought that his play style and Rocket League IQ would have worked very well with ViolentPanda and Yukeo. Obviously, I doubt after Dig's top 4 placing we will be seeing Flakes in a Dig jersey. So where can he go? I hope not to an RLRS team. He is WAY too skilled to go back there. I believe and have weird gut feeling that Veloce Esports could work if they want to take the gamble on him. It could propel them to the top 3. We shall see, as long as Flakes matures a bit and continues the grind the dude has ENDLESS possibilities, but until he signs somewhere we can only speculate.
Alright Epic/Psyonix, I see what you did here. You have to give us a show and you delivered on that, but come on, the script was SO OBVIOUS. You're going to tell me the TWO GOATS from the Dignitas/Gale Force dynasty played AGAINST each other in a GAME 7 OVERTIME for the world title? NO WAY. You're also going to tell me JSTN hit the game winning shot in OVERTIME to win his FIRST TITLE? Something he couldn't do in the SAME EXACT scenario in Season 5? You guys might as well just make this the next Marvel movie with this story line. Nonetheless, I want to say all kidding aside this was the most exciting Rocket League event I have ever had the pleasure to watch. TurboFOURsa got his fourth, THAT'S right FOURTH fucking championship to his already amazing Rocket League resume. I want you all to take a moment to let that set in. There has been eight seasons of the RLCS and Turbopulsa has won HALF of them. HALF! Of course you got to talk about Jstn. The kid FINALLY has beaten the RLCS LAN curse and got his first championship and in the most absolute clutch way possible. And finally GarrettG after 4 years, 8 RLCS seasons he finally got his first title as well. The reaction across the internet to the NRG Overtime goal was magical and I hope someone made a video of all the pro's reacting to the NRG victory because a TON of them were GODLIKE. Especially Rizzo's clip go check that out on his twitch page. I will for sure be going in DEPTH on this event in the next Fully Boosted podcast, but for NOW I am a PROUD NA fanboy that just wants to cuddle with this realization that we FINALLY won a title on European soil......mmmm delicious.
What a delightful shit show to watch. Mutex, a now former player for the Dallas Empire was dropped do to some harsh things that he said about his teammate while he was unaware that he was streaming. I get the frustration and I couldn't care less about the shit he said, you have a right to say whatever the fuck you want, but you got to be able to face the social and professional consequences when you start crossing lines. Mutex, let me explain this to you, when you sign a PROFESSIONAL contract with a company such as Envy who is trying to get Call of Duty main stream you really got to turn down the "act like a fucking clown" knob in that brain of yours. Now this guy could of done the classic YouTube apology, but he certainly did not do that, he went to Twitch to spew some egotistical nonsense basically stating that Empire will be nothing without him and that it's a big "fucking L" for Empire and blah, blah, blah. DUMB MOVE. Simple as that. Now after the dust had settled a bit on this situation he has realized the errors of his way. After throwing the word "retard" around like a football on Sunday, he decided to run a charity stream....for Autism Speaks. I actually have a sibling with Autism and like I said I don't give a shit about what he said....they are literally JUST WORDS. What I do find obnoxious is this OBVIOUS attempt to save face with the "look I've changed" tweet or clip. He could actually be genuine about his new state of mind, but from my perspective it just looks like someone trying to save a professional COD career.
