10) Sniper (Halo Series) The Halo Sniper Rifle isn't as prominent in the competitive Halo scene as it once was, but at one point the sniper rifle helped turn pro players into legends. Names like Snipedown, Cloud, Hysteria established their careers and legacies with this power weapon. Currently The Sniper Rifle in Halo Infinite is insanely hard to use (it's a good and bad thing) and the one map that the HCS uses the sniper rifle on, Live Fire, there is only one sniper...so no classic sniper duels. On top of that the best position to use the sniper rifle on Live Fire is fairly "grenade-able". Let's hope 343 industries give us a map or two that will give this highlight stick the respect it deserves. 9) ACR (Modern Warfare 2) The FLAGSHIP gun of Modern Warfare 2 is here at our 9th spot. This rifle is probably the most famous for how much this thing shoots straight. When researching this weapon online I forgot how short the kill time was in MW2, which just adds to this gun absurdity...but in a good way. To be good with the ACR it isn't about tracking a target like you would in other Call of Duty games with longer times to kill, it's all about snapping from target to target quickly and accurately. Like me in the snack cake aisle. 8) Deagle (Counter Strike) I have never used sex toys; however, I think I get the idea whenever I watch some pro-level Deagle clips on YouTube. The Happy "What is this" Ace through smoke, The F0rest Deagle flick, Niko anytime he is on Cache, I mean you can make millions just popping these clips on Pornhub. Seriously, the Deagle is a dance between accuracy and damage. You have to really utilize that "first bullet accuracy" of this weapon and know when to take breaks between shots or go full Rambo mode. And that's why this weapon is such an incredible watch in the right hands. 7) AWP (Counter Strike) The big daddy green machine. To some it's just a "point and click" gun, but those people are, for a lack of better words...dumb. The AWP is all about precision and positioning. Especially in pro-play. People forget how long it takes to master this weapon. This gun has so much depth that you can identify certain players from just gameplay alone. Old school KennyS was b-hopping and flicking on your soul, while S1mple is methodically clutching a 1vX. This weapon has created some of the greatest moments in esports and cemented Counter Strike as the best esport in the world. 6) M8 (Black Ops 2) If Call of Duty had a Halo Battle Rifle, it would be the M8. The main rifle in competitive play this thing beamed its way to the 6th spot of this list. This rifle was such a blast to use. The M8 had the potential to kill in ONE BURST turning this gun to a pub stomping tool of death. Looking back, I'm surprised the pros didn't GA (gentlemen agreement) this rifle. 5) MP5 (Call of Duty 4) The MP5 was the gun you used to just prove you were better than someone, especially if your opponents used the M16. The magic of this weapon is the fact that obviously it will have more recoil and less damage than the M16, but it wasn't enough to make the fights unwinnable. If you had the overall better aim and snapping ability you could actually crush rifle players from deep, then turn around and dumpster the guy trying to flank you. You know the way God intended. 4) Carbine (Resistance Fall of Man) Not many people know that this game was ever a thing, but it had THE CARBINE this beautiful rifle shot fully automatic while being pinpoint accurate.... the whole time. With such a long time to kill being good with this weapon was crucial. The one vs one battles were some of the best I have ever had in any video game. They felt personal and when you came out on top you knew the other guy was pissed. The perfect effect of a good competitive weapon. 3) Battle Rifle (Halo Series) I mean what can anyone say about the Battle Rifle that hasn't been said before. It was tough not putting this at number one, but I had to be honest with myself and do the right thing #ManOfFPSHonor. Having a good BR is without a doubt important in having a good competitive experience in Halo. A lot like the sniper in Halo many pros have gone full legendary status because of their work with the BR. Roy (Halo 3) instantly comes to mind but now in Halo Infinite I have to say Formal is starting to look like THAT guy. Be good with the Battle Rifle... it's cool. I promise. 2) AK47/Vandal (Counter Strike/Valorant) This may be controversial, but yes, I have two weapons, from two different games in the same spot on this list. We got to be honest here... they're the same weapon. Yes... the spray patterns are different, but at their core they are very much the same. Both guns are very skill based, no aim assist just pure organic human inputs. It's another one of those weapons that have made people's careers and legacies. I could watch players like Scream, TenZ, and F0rest shoot bots for hours and just being mesmerized by it the whole time. Even the way they shoot bots is on a level that 99.5% of us could never reach. So, whether you have an anime profile pic and act desperate towards females on the internet (Valorant players), or you do some immoral shit for some skins and partake in watching snuff films on your free time (Counter Strike players), let's just push our differences aside and come together in the unified language of ONE TAPS. 1) Lightning Gun (Quake Series) The most impressive weapon on this list is without a doubt the lightning gun (LG) from the quake series. This weapon requires an insane amount of concentration and raw talent to use. Let's put it this way folks, the skill gap between a "good" LG and a "great" LG is astronomically different. Now, go from a "great" LG to a professional level LG. That gap is something I have not seen in any other competitive shooter. Tracking is probably the hardest thing to do in FPS and to do it with no aim assist, insanely long times to kill, and the speed at which these characters can move at makes the LG the most incredible weapon in FPS Esports.

Let me start by saying that this TikTok clip is not funny...to me. And that's completely ok. Comedy is subjective. As always, I'm in the middle of this Twitter debate, If Nadia is getting Warzone clips like this on the reg then she is a sick Warzone player...notice how I don't mention "female", as I have stated in some past blogs your gender does not matter (performance wise) in gaming, unlike in most traditional sports where biology based off gender plays a major factor in advantages/disadvantages. I'm sure in that clip many (if not all) of her victims were males (assuming! OMG!) so her branding as a "female gamer" hurts only herself and the growth of women in gaming in my opinion. She's a gamer. A damn good one. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I HOPE only for her success. Jake is 100% ok to post the tweet that he did. Just like how that asshole is 100% ok to post that shitty TikTok. I'm just interested in why Tweet this out? Why give this TikTok that you hate so much more publicity? Yes, it's got a shit ton of views, but the people actually interacting positively to this unfunny video make up less than 15% of all the views this TikTok got. I think Jake somewhat, genuinely felt disgusted with this video, but I can't overlook the fact that it's also just an easy lay-up for Twitter applause that he seems to thirst for every so often. @TheNadiaAmine <--- Give this gamer a follow. |
